The Top-Paying IT Certifications for 2020 are based on the Global Knowledge 2020 IT Skills and Salary Survey, a report that will be released in the spring. The survey results are based on the average certification holder: "Current certifications they own, which other certification they’re likely to have, their age and most likely job role." Other pertinent certification holder characteristics include their relevant skills, job role, tenure and hard work.
