Samsung's T5 Portable SSD is not only compact, lightweight and secure, it also comes in new classy and sharp colors, particularly refined Rose Gold and bold Metallic Red aluminum finish. These two new colors join the current colors, original Blue and Black finishes. Intended for photographers, console gamers and professionals who need "on-the-go storage or a reliable backup device." The Rose Gold and Metallic Red options come with the 500GB and 1TB storage capacities. The 2 TB storage version is only available in black

The Samsung T5 weighs approximately the same as two AA batteries and is the size of a business card. The T5 is compatible with USB Type-C and Type-A ports, including Windows PCs, Macs, Android and other devices. For security purposes, the T5 uses optional password protection via robust AES 256-bit hardware encryption. The T5 is faster than external HDDs, offering file transfers up to 4.9 times faster with file transfers up to 540MBper second.

The T5starts at $79.99 for 250GB in original Blue, and the new colors are available in 500GB ($99.99) and 1TB capacities ($199.99). Available for purchase at Samsung.com and select retailers nationwide.
